Last night we went to an Indian place on Devon. If you go south on Clark, turn right on Devon, keep going. The first Indian food place on your right is it. I'd been told of its wonders before, but I'd not experienced them. I'd heard it was kind of a hole in wall, which was kind of true. But you see, this place offers entrees for $2-3. I mean full entrees. Big pieces of nan for $.50 a piece, and big plate of Basmati rice with cardamom for $1. I got 5 pieces of nan, a thing of rice, and 3 entrees for $11. Suzanne and I ate until we were stuffed, and there's still enough for another meal for the two of us. And it was goood, too! And what was kind of cool was that I was the only person in the place not from that part of the world. I think this will be a regular stop.

Apparently these are fish* usually found only at the darkest, foulest depths, but because of the tsunami they were found washed up onshore. If you're like me you're thinking of 3 words--deep sea sushi.
