You don't usually have to wait too long before Amia does something funny. Here, in both text and image, is a partial and incomplete list of funny things Amia does.
Hitting- So far I've been headbutted, had my jaw grabbed, poked in the eye, pinched, had my hair pulled, had my glasses dragged off my face, kicked about the face, chest, stomach, and legs, and had my tongue slapped. And that was all just on accident. That last one was from me mirroring her sticking her tongue out and then she realized mommy was nearby so she turned around really quickly.
She gets punchy at night sometimes and everything is funny. Even just looking at her or sitting up.
How she anticipates things. She likes being startled a little, so if you keep startling her she starts to expect it and laughs before you've even done anything.
How she doesn't get into toys that often. Wooden spoons, spatulas, wallets. Those are toys too.
She loves children. Really. A little person walking into her line of sight is sure to get a smile.
When she gets really happy she kicks/pumps her legs, smiles, wrings her hands, and throws her head back.
How she can fall asleep in any position. Today I came home for lunch and we went on a walk. It was pretty cold outside and the whole way back she was leaning back, looking at Suzanne, and moaning. Just before we got to the house she fell asleep that way. This is exactly how she fell asleep as I was walking.
Yes, living with Amia is really fun.
