Some new developments this week:
-Reports from a variety of sources say that she's grown both in height and girth.
-Her belly button is healing well and is looking good.
-She's grown a second chin.
-Her schedule of sleep, quiet alertness, and fussiness continues to baffle us.
-The other day she had a big smile on her face, not just a hint of one, but a nice, big chubby one.
We're hoping to take her on her first trip tomorrow. Claire, our cousin, is getting married in southwestern Michigan, about 3 1/2 hours from here, so we're going to brave the trip with Amia. We're expecting to stop frequently, but are hopeful that we'll make it there. An hour out is the point of no return. If she's too fussy before then we're coming back home. We're going to have a support car caravanning with us.
If we make it I'll have lot more pictures, and hopefully Typepad will let me post them. I have some really good ones in the hopper I wanted to share but something isn't letting me. Wish us luck, and if you have any spare prayer time, remember us :) It'll feel so good to get out of the house. Suzanne went out without Amia while I stayed home, for about 10 minutes, and you could see that Suzanne felt refreshed. Imagine what a weekend out of the house will do for us!!
