Here is quite possibly the coolest class around. Today was our last day. We had a student presentation, talked about the need for a fundamental change in the way we view each other as the real key to educational reform, and they evaluated the class. Then we did an exercise where everyone writes their name on a piece of paper, and everyone writes one positive thing about them on their paper. It was cool for everyone, they said, to see what others think of them. Then, we took this picture and Suzanne was actually walking up to visit the class when one of my students, not knowing who she was, asked if she could take a picture real quick. We eventually got someone else, then got to work on SpongeBob. I talked about how they're really stressed at the end of the semester, so this would be a good way to get that out. I told them to think of SpongeBob as their final exam, or research paper, or project or whatever. We had a really good time doing that. Hopefully I can get some pics of all that.
